Illustration Friday--Float

Float

One day the seals decided to have a party on the local float. That is Shore Patrol on lifeguard duty and a relative of Monseiur Snuffy snuggling up to the anchor.

This was my first time using gouache for a whole painting and I gotta say, I'm hooked. It's much more fun to work with than watercolor or acrylics.

Goache on paper.

Your painting reminds me of the Finn Family Moonintroll. There is snuffling and snuggling in their portraits as well. I like your seals and Nurse or Doctor seagull; and find it amusing the girl seal has a fine moustache. You have done a great job with your first gouche painting!

Haha!! That is such a cute pix of partying seals. I like the octopus who seems to be trying to join the fun.

This is very cute...they look like they're having a blast! I love the vibrant colors of the gouache.

Now there's something you do often see - a seal party! Wonderfully unique illustration for this week's topic.
