Blind Contour Friday 6

Mixer

This is supposed to be my stand mixer.

I decided to try color this time. I put some pencils in a cup and chose them at random while I was drawing. I found out it's kind of hard to keep track of where you are when you change colors like that.

Go check out the other entries at inkfinger

well, for changing colors, you did a spectacular job keeping track of where you were. i really like the color factor. maybe i'll try it one day. when i start thinking my blind contours look more like the object drawn.

I love the color change. Have to try this myself ...maybe next week.

I love this and I think your use of color here is brilliant!

Oops. I thought I'd left a comment here earlier this morning. I love the simplicity of this and the ingenious use of color. Really nice.

NICE! i knew exactly what this was. the color idea is good too..but hard i bet. i like how you tried it while drawing rather than in post. People get so creative with this..yay!

Excellent experiment. I think it's wonderful and love how the colored lines float. Maybe next time when you change pencils, you could leave your finger where you left off. I don't see that as 'cheating' as you'd be staying with your contour and still not looking at the page.

what a challenging assignment you gave yourself, but you did it so nicely. The changing colors give it great energy.
